How to Add Contacts/Sub-Accounts

What are Contacts/Sub-Accounts?

Contacts/Sub-Accounts allow clients to create sub-users under their main account, which maybe be required when reigstering domain names on behalf of the actual domain owner.

It is now a requirement that all domain names are registered in the name of the rightful owner (registrant), therefore website developers are able to use the contacts feature to register domain names for their clients, while they handle the domain registration and renewal.

There are two ways to create a contact/sub-account:

First Method: Add Contact/Sub-Account When Ordering - During Checkout

During checkout you will have the opportunity to Add a New Contact for the Domain Registrant Information.

This option will be available from the drop down menu under the Domain Registrant Information heading, see the screenshot below:

Click Add New Contact
A drop down box will appear with fields for the registrats details
Simply fill in the details of the rightful domain owner (registrant) and complete the check out.




Second Method: Add Contact/Sub-Account From the Client Area


A contact/sub-account can also be created from wiithin the Stallion Hosting Client Area

Click on your name on the top right corrner
A drop down menu will appear, click on the Contacts/Sub-Accounts option
You will then be presented with the option to Add New Contact
Simply fill in the details of the rightful domain owner (registrant), and click Save Changes
You will now be able to use this Contact's details for the Domain Registrant Information when order domain names.
